Priority booking opens 5pm Friday 9th DecemberGeneral booking opens 5pm Tuesday 13th DecemberWe are delighted to welcome back Wurlitza for a live performance and screening of two rare gems, Charlie Chaplin’s The Kid and Buster Keaton’s One Week. Each film soundtrack is an absolute labour of love, taking on average about 2 years to compile. Once planned out and relatively familiar, the band start performing and ironing out what truly works and what doesn’t. The band are often asked how on earth they come up with their soundtracks, and the answer is simply a diverse interest in music and a lot of trial and error.One Week (25 mins) Buster Keaton and Sybil Seely star as a newly-wedded couple who attempt to build a house from a prefabricated kit, with less than perfect results. This charming and comedic short has allowed Wurlitza to delve into the world of slapstick, and create not only a musical accompaniment but an array of inventive sound effects!The Kid (60 mins) Starring alongside his child protégé Jackie Coogan, this is an hour-long treat of Charlie Chaplin at his best. This funny yet heart-warming film follows Chaplin’s character as a child almost literally falls into his life.Tickets £12 / £10 concessions. Said to “Out-Hitchcock Hitchcock”, Asquith’s film uses every cinematic technical trick available to create a story of jealousy and suspense. It is a snapshot on the rise of early talking films, cleverly woven into a plot that involves an escaped convict, a love triangle and, naturally, hairdressing. Twelfth Night is a tale of unrequited love – hilarious and heartbreaking. Twins are separated in a shipwreck, and forced to fend for themselves in a strange land. The first twin, Viola, falls in love with Orsino, who dotes on Olivia, who falls for Viola but is idolised by Malvolio. Enter Sebastian, who is the spitting image of his twin sister...Christopher Luscombe, Director of the ‘glorious’ (Daily Telegraph) Love’s Labour’s Lost and Much Ado About Nothing (2014 and 2016), returns to tackle Shakespeare’s greatest comedy, a brilliantly bittersweet account of "the whirligig of time", with Adrian Edmondson (Bottom, The Young Ones) in the role of Malvolio and Kara Tointon (ITV’s Mr Selfridge and Sound of Music Live!) in the role of Olivia.

Rory Kinnear (The Threepenny Opera, Penny Dreadful, Othello) is Marx and Oliver Chris (Twelfth Night, Green Wing) is Engels, in this new comedy written by Richard Bean and Clive Coleman. Broadcast live from The Bridge Theatre, London, the production is directed by Nicholas Hytner and reunites the creative team behind Broadway and West End hit comedy One Man, Two Guvnors. 1850, and Europe’s most feared terrorist is hiding in Dean Street, Soho. Broke, restless and horny, the thirty-two-year-old revolutionary is a frothing combination of intellectual brilliance, invective, satiric wit, and child-like emotional illiteracy.Creditors, spies, rival revolutionary factions and prospective seducers of his beautiful wife all circle like vultures.
